The air quality in Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly in Sarajevo Canton, is among the most polluted in Europe. People living in this region typically breathe in more toxic particles from polluted air than their neighbors in Western Europe. In light of these pressing issues, CEEO has designed a project that directly addresses air pollution, focusing on the youngest population in Sarajevo Canton.
The Clean Air for Youth project is a comprehensive initiative aimed at improving indoor and outdoor air quality in schools and kindergartens. At the same time, it seeks to raise public awareness of the importance of clean air.
The general goal of the project is to develop an environmental monitoring system through continuous monitoring of indoor and outdoor air quality in schools and kindergartens.
