The main goal of the project “Adaptation of Teen World in Open Urban Mobility – Urban ATOM” is to raise public awareness through educational activities targeting high school students in four municipalities of the City of Sarajevo, focusing on the need to improve energy efficiency and the sustainability of urban mobility.
The project aims to influence youth by strengthening public awareness and fostering a long-term culture of sustainable mobility in Sarajevo through the use of transport means aligned with electromobility concepts, including electric scooters. These actions represent key steps toward achieving the project’s objectives.
Through project campaign elements, the goal is to educate, inform, engage, motivate, and activate high school students to drive changes in the existing mobility model. Another important objective is to provide education on the proper use of electric scooters in order to ensure traffic safety for all road users.
Expected outcomes of the project include a reduction in harmful gas emissions in Sarajevo’s urban center—specifically in four municipalities chosen symbolically to represent the city’s starting, central, and ending zones—improved urban mobility in Sarajevo, and increased efficiency among high school students, who are future university students in the city.
